Marsh Mayfly pictured here is a previous Badminton competitor. With her 21st birthday this month, she managed to damage her flexor tendon (DDFT) in the field only months after retiring from British dressage last year. Lucky for her, her owner has sent her to Best Equine Spa and Rehab for spa treatment to aid healing and she is making fantastic progress. Her owner is purely having this cold water spa treatment so ‘Flower’ can be retired comfortably. It’s so nice to hear about owners like this that just want the absolute best for their horses.

– Izzy gets a couple of treatments a week also and more frequently when they are showing. Amanda Gately, assistant trainer for Robin Frid, explained that through Congress and the World Show they use the spa treatment on their horses a lot more frequently due to the long and hard show schedule. Izzy was qualified and showing in Amateur Hunter Under Saddle, Amateur Showmanship, Amateur Performance Geldings, and Junior Hunter Under Saddle
