The floor-mounted unit needs no pit but a larger footprint of 6,932 × 2,610 mm and 2,008 mm height. The main drivers are built-in or floor-mounted installation, fresh, salt or chilled water, the optional heart-rate and weighing system, your electrical supply, site preparation and territory. ECB confirms the delivery and installation date when you order. On most projects the site work sets the timeline, not the treadmill: a built-in unit needs its pit, slab, drainage and dedicated circuit ready before delivery, while a floor-mounted unit needs a level floor rated for the load. Start site preparation as soon as the order is placed and the ECB team will commission the unit and train your staff on handover.
Running costs are electricity for the drive and pumps (plus the chiller if you run cold water), filtration chemicals, periodic water changes and routine servicing.
