Jeremy Noseda's Colt Araafa won by an impressive 2 lengths
at this years Irish 2,000 Guineas at The Curragh. George Washington, which came a very respectable second, was favoured to win the race on Saturday May 27th.
The Newmarket-based trainer said: “It is a huge result and that was a great performance from Araafa – he really did win it well.
It was a magnificent effort by him. I think he won it fair and square. He threw down the gauntlet and they couldn’t come and get us.”
Both Jeremy and Aiden O'Brien have recently had ECB Equine Spa's installed into their yards and use them daily as part of the ongoing training.
