Alcazar - Nothing Can Keep This "Classy" Horse Down
Winter 2003
Alcazar has kept above the rest with the help of an
equine spa cold water hydrotherapy treatment at The
Centre for Natural Equine Therapy and trainer Hughie
Morrison's yard. Not even cracking his pelvis 3 times,
a broken bone in a hind leg and 2 strained tendons could
keep Alcazar down.
He has certainly not lost any of
his ability or enthusiasm for racing during his 18 month
absence.
He has returned in style after treatment at The Centre
to a bundle of victories and achievements in prestigious
races, which include :
1st on the 1st April 2003 at Nottingham in the
Listed Flight Stakes
1st on the 30th April 2003 at Ascot in the feature
Sagaro Stakes
2nd on the 26th October 2003 at Longchamp in
the Group 1 Prix du Royal Oak
Alcazar still enjoys preventative spa treatments at
The Centre, which can be a beneficial therapy during
racing breaks and as part of a horses preparation and
training for racing.
